The Seabird Coast is a beach located about three Km from the small town of Miranda in New Zealand. As the name implies, The Seabird coast is well known for its birdlife.

A bird sanctuary is located nearby, to take in and care for injured birds. One of the most well known species is the Godwit. Godwits are large birds with long legs and bills. They are shore birds and are related to sandpipers.
